The story of Tom Breslauer, who, freed from Dachau, escaped to England, where he was arrested as a possible spy, set free again and emigrated to America, where he was immediately inducted into the US Army and sent back to fight in Europe.
For many years after the war, he searched for news of his family, especially his mother, finally discovering her fate after a fateful trip back to Germany.
